Regional Conference on Advancing BIMSTEC Cooperation organised by Delhi Policy Group in Colombo

High Commissioner of India H.E. Taranjit Singh Sandhu delivered Key note address at Regional Conference on Advancing BIMSTEC Cooperation organised by Delhi Policy Group in Colombo. Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. IndrajitCoomaraswamy; State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Grace Asirwatham; Director General, Delhi Policy Group, AmbH.K Singh, Amb Biren Nanda, Amb. Sumith NaKandala were present. 

High Commissioner highlighted importance of BIMSTEC to fulfil India’s key foreign policy priorities of 'Neighbourhood First' and 'Act East'. High Commissioner added that India’s partnership goes beyond the numbers and is focused on people-oriented projects that touch the lives of citizens of Sri Lanka.
