"Port of Arrival" - Guidelines for Visa Applicants
i. Applicants may mention ‘ALL PORTS’ against ‘PORT OF ARRIVAL ‘ and PORT OF EXIT under column ‘E’ of the application.
Example : PORT OF ARRIVAL: ALL PORTS; PORT OF EXIT: ALL PORTS
ii. The High Commission of India, Colombo strives to provide better service to Visa applicants and welcomes further suggestions in this regard.
Information regarding Surrogacy Law
With immediate effect, any person seeking a visa to India for purpose of entering into a surrogacy arrangement must ascertain beforehand whether the law of that country permits surrogacy and will provide appropriate travel documents to the child for accompanying the surrogate parents. Entering into surrogacy arrangement under any other visa not sought for surrogacy is punishable under the Indian law.
