CONSULATE GENERAL OF INDIA JAFFNA
Consulate General of India, Jaffna was inaugurated by the then Hon´ble EAM Shri S.M. Krishna on 27th November, 2010 and the Consulate General has become functional since then.

Jurisdiction of the Consulate General:
The Jurisdiction of the Consulate General includes five districts of the Northern Province viz. Jaffna, Killinochchi, Mullaitivu, Mannar and Vavunia with Jaffna as the seat of the Consular Post.
Visa related information:
With effect from 07.07.2026, all visa, passport and consular related services will be handled at "Indian Consular Application Centre" (https://icacsrilanka.com/
Visa applications can be filled at "https://indianvisaonline.gov.
If you have applied for "Regular/Paper Visa", you can submit your application forms with all necessary documents and passport at "Indian Consular Application Centre".
