His Excellency, Mr. Alok Prasad, High Commissioner for India in Sri Lanka, presented books worth SLR 2.4 lakhs to the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) at the Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo, on 26th April, 2007. These books are on Art & Culture, Economics, Sociology and Anthropology and have been selected by the SEUSL.
The High Commission of India has been working with SEUSL over the past few years to improve its infrastructure, to help establish new faculties and to upgrade the teaching skills of its existing faculty members. This contribution of books and our commitment to improve the library of the University is part of this tradition.
