1. It is to notify that the last date for submitting the applications for award of Ceylon Estate Workers Education Trust (CEWET) scholarship has been now extended till 31st July, 2013. Those who have not applied so far, can now apply for availing of the above mentioned scholarship. A total of 350 scholarships are available for the current year.

2. Students who are children of estate workers and resident on estates and either pursuing G.C.E. Advance Level or Undergraduate courses can avail of this scholarship. Students undergoing vocational /technical education in any of the Government Technical Colleges in Sri Lanka also can apply for CEWET scholarship.

3. Completed application forms must be accompanied by photocopies of birth certificate, result sheet of G.C.E. O Level or A Level, last salary slip of parents and Estate Superintendent's certificate regarding parents occupation.

4. Application forms are available at the High Commission of India, 36-38, Galle Road, Colombo-03 and the Assistant High Commission of India, No.31, Rajaphilla Mawatha, Kandy.

5. Duly completed forms should reach the Honorary Secretary, CEWET c/o High Commission of India, P.O.Box.882, Colombo-03 on or before 31st July, 2013.
