To make trains safer by eliminating human errors, Indian Railways has developed an AI-powered robot which would click pictures and record videos of the under-gears of trains and send them to engineers for repairs and maintenance.

 

Indian Railway company RITES Limited has successfully delivered S-13 series 13 coaches Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DMU) to Sri Lanka as part an inter-governmental concessional financed project to provide the best-in-class rolling stock to Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan Railways has begun the trial run for the DMUs.
